Area 23 Residents Burns a Thief To Death

Furious residents of area 23 burnt to death a man who had attacked a bicycle taxi operator (kabaza)

The reports say the man stabbed the bicycle operator on the leg and ran away. He was later caught by a few people who spotted him and started beating him before he was burnt.

One of the witnesses testified.

“He was accused of walking at night for a reason of stealing from business people,” he said.

The thief tried to run while on fire but he couldn’t afford to escape since things had already gone out of hand. He run a few feet but ended up falling down and that was his demise.

The angry mob burnt the thief a few kilometers from area 23 police unit and no officer was around to rescue him.
