Prophet and church member fight over fake prophecy

Face of Malawi gathered that a prophet in Zimbabwe attacked a member of his church with an axe over an argument regarding a spirit medium.

According to reports, the prophet identified as Tinotenda Chikwanha, a Johane Masowe yeChishanu leader from Beitbridge, Zimbabwe, attacked one of his church members with an axe, during service.

Prophet Chikwanha had allegedly confronted his church member identified as John Takura, for using a spiritual medium during a prophecy.

Chikwanha insisted that using spirit mediums was not a practice allowed in their church. The argument broke out in a fight, which led to the prophet attacking and hitting Takura with an axe, on his left shoulder.

The prophet has however denied the attack.
