Woman Almost Suffocates to Death After Ex-lover Locked Her Inside a Car Boot (Photos)

A woman has been made to go through a most excruciating experience after being locked inside a car boot by her ex lover.

A report by Metro UK has shown how a woman almost boiled to death after she was ‘stabbed and locked in a hot car boot by her ex-boyfriend’.

The man, Khun Narong, 40, allegedly gave the woman a lift to work yesterday morning, but before they arrived stabbed her in the neck then dragged her out of the passenger seat.

He bundled her into the boot, slammed it and disappeared with the key, it is claimed, leaving her there to bleed and suffocate as temperatures outside reached 38C in Surat Thani province, Thailand.

Inside the car, it became like an oven with the heat believed to have reached up to 70C.

The 37-year-old woman, who has not been named, was rescued when people heard her muffled shouts for help inside the white Mazda.

Locals prized open the boot with a metal gardening instrument – finding her inside with a flicker of life having been inside for nearly two hours.

When the woman slowly came round she told her rescuers: ‘I was praying somebody would find me, I had given up, thank you, thank you.’

Rescue workers from the Surat Rescue Charitable Trust arrived and rushed her to hospital where she recounted the ordeal to police.

Officers tracked down ex-boyfriend Narong who was arrested at remanded in custody while an investigation was launched.

Lt. Nuttawutdej from Surat Thani police, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘We arrived at the scene with the Charitable Rescue Trust. Residents had heard a woman calling for help from the car.

‘The woman was found inside the car which had been locked tightly. We noted she had suffered cuts and bruises after being assaulted and attacked. She had a knife wound to the neck.

‘The incident happened while they were driving to work together on the morning of May 7.’
