A beauty queen, Ms. Rattana Ramchatu who was travelling from Chompon to Bangkok has died in a fatal road accident on June 1, 2017 just four days after winning the crown.
The beautiful woman won Miss Grand Uthai Thani 2017 crown before her sad death. The Tap Sakae Poilce said that the accident happened on the Petkasem in-bound highway in front of Tao Sakae electricity office.
Rattana and her friend were present in the car when the accident took place and the friend who was at the steering wheel got severely injured.
She would have been the representative of her province at the prestigious Miss Grand Thailand which is scheduled to be held on 18th July 2017. The stunner was very talented as she was good at modeling and singing both.
Mr Nawat Itsaragrisil said, “The Miss Grand Thailand team expresses their deepest sorrow on the sudden passing away of Fies Rattana Ramchatu Miss Grand Uthai Thani 2017 in an accident.
Rest in peace Fies and our sympathies are with your family.”
It is a great shock for the beauty contest committee, family and friends and they all expressed their deep condolence on her death on social media.
