JB attending Women Leaders Forum for Africa’s Transformation in New York

Former President Dr. Joyce Banda, founder of the Joyce Banda foundation is in New York City attending a three days forum on Women Leaders Forum for Africa’s Transformation- Launch of the African Women Leaders Network.

The forum which started on May 31 2017 is organized by UN Women, African Union, and the German government.

“Tonight, we opened the forum with a dinner debate, featuring UN, African Union and government officials. Great reconnecting with my sisters and meeting inspirational women from Africa!

Banda left the country just after the May 20, 2014 tripartite election which saw President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika emerging victorious.
