Soon after United Democratic Front (UDF) Member of Parliament (MP) Lucius Banda disclosed how he has been down with sickness, he visited ten mosques. 
On June 21, 2017, despite being Catholic, Banda again came to his Facebook page to share his experience after he paid visit to several mosques.
“Today I got some strength and energy to go and visit my Islamic brothers and sisters those who are fasting, so far I visited ten mosques the pain of hunger was visible but the satisfaction of the achievement was even brighter,” post reads.
The status attracted political comments that praised Lucius as true Malawian who can make good president than so called ‘foreigners’ who are overlooking the real needs of citizens.
