Daza wants Bushiri in his party

Interim President for the newly registered Democratic People’s Congress, shortened as ‘DePeCo’ Chris Daza has come out of his cocoon and said he has approached Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church to join the party.

Daza disclosed this in a press briefing held on Sunday in the capital Lilongwe attended by faceofmalawi reporter.

In his speech, Daza urged Malawians across the country to give his party chance to rule the country in the 2019 general election, saying the party is the only hope for Malawians.

He also disclosed that many members from other political party both local and International have expressed interest to join the party but denied to disclose the names.

When asked to comment on the rumours that DEPECO party is owned by Prophet Bushiri, Daza trashed the rumours.

He said Bushiri is his best friend and spiritual father.

He also informed the reporters that he has approached Bushiri to join the party but is yet to respond on the call.
