Business lady who was kidnapped in Lilongwe found dumped in Kasungu

A Lilongwe based businesswoman Jane Nthakomwa who was kidnapped along the Area 14 highway in Lilongwe on Monday evening has been found dumped in Kasungu, faceofmalawi can reveal.

According to information at hand, the business lady is now at Kasungu District Hospital where she is being examined after the fate.

Her husband on Tuesday told the press that his wife was kidnapped at around 8:00pm as she was going home from office.

According him, Nthakomwa has been receiving death threats through text messages from unknown people over a tender at Ministry of Education Science and Technology before the kidnap.

In the text messages the unknown thugs allegedly warned her not bid for a tender at the Ministry of Education or face death.
