Man killed by angry mob for sexually molesting women through magic in Lilongwe

An angry mob has murdered a 44 year old man who is believed to have been sexually molesting women through magic in Area 50 (Lilongwe).

The deceased has been identified as Masauko Koshoni (44) who hailed from Mkungula 2 village, Traditional Authority Masambankhunda in Lilongwe.

According to a police report seen by faceofmalawi reporter, Kashoni was caught inside a house while attempting to rape a woman who was sleeping beside her own husband on the wee hours of Wednesday.

Women in the area have been complaining that a certain man has been molesting them through magic.

During the incident the deceased was simply wearing underwear.

Police visited the scene and took the deceased to Area 25 health center where he died upon arrival.

Police has opened a case of murder and is appealing to members of the general public to desist from administering mob justice.
