Phalombe Men Found Selling Human Navel

Two people in Phalombe district have been arrested after they were found offering for sale a fresh human navel, Phalombe police public relations officer has confirmed.

The PRO, Innocent Moses said the suspects identified as 39 year old Davison Moliya and Denzel Rodrick aged 56 were arrested today, April 24 at Dulankhani Trading Centre in the district.

According to Moses, a certain businessman who was approached by the suspects to buy the navel tipped the police about the culprits in the early hours of today.

“The businessman revealed to police officers that the culprits were offering the human navel for sale at K300.000. Following the tip, police officers were sent to arrest the men, “said Moses.

He added that once police investigation is done, the two will appear in court to answer charges accordingly.

Moliya comes from Manolo village while Rodrick comes from Gowero village both in the area of traditional authority Mkanda in Mulanje.
