A 13-year-old girl who was on Sunday kidnapped by unknown criminals has been found safe and sound.
Katlego Marite from Tabsbet Park in Witbank, South Africa was on Sunday, 20 may 2018 kidnapped by unknown men while she was playing with her friends not far from her parent’s home.
According to police’s information, the teenage victim got kidnapped by men who were travelling in gold Toyota Corolla.
Upon being kidnapped, her friends rushed to her parents and informed them of the news hence an investigation by police with help of public members was launched.
The combined efforts by the police and the community paid off when Marite was found safe and sound. The circumstances under which he was found are a subject of investigation.
The Provincial Commissioner commended the community, members of the police as well as family for their integrated and relentless effort in ensuring that Katlego is found.
