A ten year-old Ghanaian girl is currently making headlines with her DJing skills which she started at the age of 9.
Erica who is popularly known as DJSwitch when she is on the decks said she decided to call herself DJSwitch because she switches up people’s happiness when she is doing her DJ thing.
In a feature with BBC News Africa, DJ Switch said she began her DJing career at the age of 9 because she wanted to try something new.
She happened to grasp the skill of DJing quickly and became quite the young starlet in her country.
She recently released her first single “Deceiver,” which she featured her mother who also happens to be in support of her DJing career.
The video has over 80, 000 views on YouTube.
When she’s not behind the 1’s and 2’s, she’s either at school or playing the trumpet, drums, dancing or learning the piano.
