Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has impounded three vehicles belonging to Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Youth Director Louis Ngalande due to failure in remitting tax.
According to information at hand, MRA invaded Ngalande house in Chigumula this morning and impounded three vehicles namely; Toyota Fortuner, a truck and the other.
Ngalande who is also one of the Chilima movement members advocating for the candidature of the State Vice President Saulos Chilima in the 2019 polls, confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
In his speech, Ngalande described the move as political.
He said he will not be intimidated by MRA move to impound his vehicles.
Effort to talk to MRA officials on the matter proved futile.
