Gospel Singer Frank Waya Praises Chilima in New Song

Just some days after legendary Lucius Banda released a song praising the leader for United Transformation Movement (UTM) Dr Saulos Chilima, a Lilongwe based gospel singer, Frank Waya has follow suit by also releasing his own song praising Chilima.

The song which is titled “Saulos Chilima” has been released today, Friday 27^th July through Malawi’s leading music website www.malawi-music.com.

According to Frank Waya, Chilima has all the capabilities needed for one to be a president. He revealed through an interview with Face of Malawi that his interest to support Chilima came after listening to some of Chilima’s public speeches.

“I have been observing Chilima for quite a long time and it was through that when my interest for Chilima grew. Through my observations, i figured out that Chilima is really a suitable person for a leader. Chillima is humble, confident and also intelligent person, “he said.

Asked if he is confident that Chilima will come out as victor in the forthcoming elections, Waya said, “Frankly speaking Chilima is our next president whether someone wants it or not Chilima is ruling the country after the elections next year.”

Part of the lyrics in the song goes, “David wathu lero ndi Chilima/ Malawi sankha mwanzeru usapuse/ Usapepere ndi awo amabodza/ Ndikale lija Malawi changamuka/ Ino ndi nthawi zinthu zako zisintha/ zokuba ndalama kupha albino/ Malawi dzuka Saulos wafika/ Uyu ndiye wopukuta misozi.”

The area 23 resident gospel singer is therefore urging Malawians to register so that they should be able to cast their votes in May next year.

He further promises his fans a DVD which will drop soon as well as other projects which he did not disclose.
