Chilima to hold a rally in Chileka on Saturday

Leader of United Transformation Movement (UTM) Dr. Saulos Chilima who is also the country’s vice President will hold a rally at Mankhokwe Ground in Chileka, Blantyre this coming Saturday, faceofmalawi can reveal.

The rally in Blantyre comes barely a week after the launch of UTM at St Augustine Primary School in the Eastern District of Mangochi.

According to a poster seen by faceofmalwi, Chilima will arrive at the venue by 1pm.

on Tuesday this week, Chilima conducted a whistle stop tour from Liwonde and he warned those people attacking his movement by burning vehicles and some regalias to stop saying soon he will act on the matter.

This was in reference to the political violence which happened in Mangochi where two UTM vehicles were torched by unknown assailants.
