SDA congregants exchange brawls during church service in Blantyre

Church service ended prematurely on Saturday following a fight that erupted among members and Ministers at Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Nyambadwe, Blantyre.

Information sourced by Faceofmalawi reporter indicates that the church called for election of new office bearers but the outcome of the polls did not please some members and Ministers at the church who lost the election.

The disagreement resulted to a fierce fight among members disrupting church service in the process as some members escaped from the scene in fear of their lives.

It took the intervention of the police from Blantyre Police to calm down the situation at the SDA church Blantyre Petrodah Congregation.

Meanwhile several congregants are in custody at Blantyre Police Station.
