Fatal road accident at Sole village along SA-LL road

Involving motor vehicle registration no NU 4093 Fuso Fighter driven by Mr Everson Makungwa 63 years, village Mkutumula TA Makwangwala, Ntcheu occ driver,Masina Transport, box 293,Salima.

Deceased being male passenger Mr Limited Gilion Marina,60 yrs, Tchale 2 village TA Ganya,D Ntcheu,occ business, box box 293,Salima.

Facts are that Mr Everson Makungwa was driving the aforementioned motor vehicle registration no Nu 4093 Fuso Fighter from Salima going to Lilongwe direction with five passengers and a set of bamboo made chair on board.

On arrival at sole village, near Chankhungu FP school , while descending slope,front offside tyre got burst. As a result the motor vehicle went to the offside verge where it hit and uprooted a tree before resting.

Following impact ,Mr Limited Masina died on spot. Death was confirmed at Chankungu health centre.

Mr Ganizani chipala,32 years, Chikolokoto vge,TA khombeza D Salima sustained minor injuries on right arm and Mr McKnight Goster Moleni 41 years, village kang’ oma TA kachindamoto Dedza suffered minor head injuries. Both have been treated as out patients at Chankhungu health centre.

Deadbodies was referred to Salima district hospital for postmortem exercise. Caused revealed that deceased died of severe head injuries.
