The wife to Vice President Saulos Chilima was unveiled as winner of Fashion Icon category at the inaugural 2018 UMP Fashion Awards held on Saturday night during Mzuzu Fashion Week show at Kentam Mall in Mzuzu. The Awards had seven categories.
According to awards organisers, the country’s second lady emerged as the winner of the Fashion Icon Category, which recognises individuals who have made a huge impression on the country’s and style scene.
UMP Projects Manager Wisdom Phanga said the voting process involved four local fashion experts and public votes via social media.
