Lucius revives a fight for the poor

Veteran musician Lucius Banda who is also Member of Parliament for Balaka North has revived his fight for the poor.

Writing on his official facebook page, Banda said: “It is very difficult to convince a Malawian that no matter how financially well one becomes, but if the vast majority can’t afford even food, We are all poor and pathetic.”

It is very difficult to convince a Malawian that no matter how financially well one becomes, but if the vast majority can’t afford even food, We are all poor and pathetic.

This is why I always try to fight for the betterment of all of us as a nation than me as an individual.

I want more people to own cars so they will appreciate when the rich drive a Ferrari, Lamborgini, Escalade and porche…

I want all people to have food, so they can admire when the rich are eating those expensive foods like lobsters, asparagus, lasagna champagne, and caviar.

I wish all people would afford good clothing so that those who are rich can now wear those designer outfits without being embarrassed by looking too overdressed for occasions.
