———Ditches UDF for independent

One of the youthful councilor in the country for Richard Chikopa for Soche east ward has promises development in the area by constructing more foot bridges road network infrastructure , drilling more boreholes, Kiosks, street light just to mention but a few.
Speaking in an interview Chikopa said he is optimistic that he is going to win in 2091 tripartite elections because of his development vision and conscious.
He said during next year’s elections he will not stand for UDF ticket but independent to save people from all political parties.
“I won in 2014 elections through UDF ticket but in 2019 I will stand as independent because UDF is not popular nowadays,” he said.
He said he has done a lot of development in Soche East ward together with MP for Blantyre City South constituency Allan Ngumuya and promised to continue with development and he thanked MP for cordial relationship with him.
