Independent Aspirant Councilor ‘Edward Namankhwa’ Optimistic to Win

Aspirant independent councilor for Green corner ward said he is optimistic to win in this year’s tripartite elections due to his developmental conscious and vision.

Speaking in an interview, Edward Namankhwa said Chilobwe has stayed long time without any tangible development hence joining politics to change things.

“My purpose of contesting as councilor for the Green corner ward which include Baluti, Green corner  is to bring more development like constructing more bridges, bring potable water, sanitation, constructing good road network infrastructure, good health facilities just to mention but a few,” he said.

Namankhwa also said when voted into power things will dramatically change because of his vision and determination for the people of Chilobwe area.

He further said he joined politics to develop the ward as most councilors have failed to change things.

“Firstly I wanted to stand on DPP ticket but a lot of people have asked me to stand as independent candidate so that I can save all people despite of their political affiliations.

He therefore urged voters to vote for him if they need developmental continuity.
