Lilongwe City Mayor Desmond Bikoko has pulled out of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) primary elections held today in Zomba Malosa Constituency.
Bikoko was competing with Grace Nkwepetela and the two agreed to disagree on the electoral college used in the primary polls.
According to Bikoko, the presiding officer approved reduction of areas from 145 to 125 without valid reasons.
He has since lodge an official complaint to the party.
