MOB BURNT DOWN POLICE VEHICLE TO ASHES, MORTUARY DESTROYED AFTER POLICE TORTURE SUSPECT TO DEATH

ZAMBIA – Residents in Zambezi district have burnt a police vehicle and have destroyed the district hospital mortuary.

This came after the police were alleged to have tortured to death a mr Mulonda who was suspected to be illegally in possession of a gun.

When the news went viral that Mr mulonda was killed by the police, a mob declared war against the police and started throwing stones at them in protest but the alert police fired teargas canisters in an effort to disperse the angry mob which turned into a heavy riot.

The mob further destroyed doors and windows of the police man’s house who is alleged to have beaten to death Mr Mulonda.
