Aspirant councilor for Green Corner ward Fatima Sarah Nembo has said once voted into power in May 21 tripartite elections she will bring more development so that community should be fully developed.
Speaking in an interview Nembo said men have failed to develop the community and votes this time should vote for female and youth councilor for a change.
“As a youth aspirant candidate in the area I vowed to develop Chilobwe and surrounding the area to uplift the welfare of people of Green corner ward which is not developed at the moment,” she said.
Nembo discloses how she has already started developing the area through Youth towards a Vision (YTV) by training the youth in vocational skills like Carpentry and Joinery, Mechanics, Technicians just to mention but a few.
“The Community needs a councilor with a vision who can changes things in the area. And I promise that once ushered into power I will bring more development,” she said.
She said the area need a health Centre because Zingwangwa health Centre is far from Green corner ward. People from surrounding communities walk long distance to access medical services. She also promises to construct concrete bridges, bring portable water among others.
