KENYA – Police have seized 1,140kgs of weed worth KSh 4.5 million Kahawa Sukari area in Nairobi and arrested two suspects in connection to the narcotics.
The weed was been transported by a fuel tanker.
Neighbours informed the police of their suspicion when the they saw wrapped packages being offloaded from the tanker.
“The two will be taken to court tomorrow (Tuesday) as we investigate where they were transporting the bhang from,” said Nyange.
One of the men has been on the police watch list and his arrest will be a key lead in dismantling drug cartels in Nairobi city.
