50-50 campaign Yield Results in Mangochi

50-50 campaign management in Mangochi has said it is convinced that more women are taking part in politics.

This was said in Mangochi where the meeting was taking place by Dickens Mahwayo who said more women are expected to make it as either members of parliament or ward councilors.

“More women will make it as either members of parliament or ward councilors,” Mahwayo said.

He further said that this is so because a lot of women have realized their role in democracy.

“This time the number of women that have come out to participate in this year’s elections is a sign that more women are able to understand their role in democracy,” he said.

A lot of organizations have been calling women to take part in the forthcoming May 21 elections.
