United Transformation Movement (UTM) president Saulos Chilima has promised people of Neno that he will construct good roads once voted into power in the forthcoming elections.
Chilima made the promised during a political campaign rally the party held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Chikonde primary school ground in the district.
Speaking to thousands that gathered at the rally, Chilima said the current status of Neno road is that of a mere footpath.
He added that when he is voted into power he will change the status of Neno roads.
“When we take over this government in May we are going to construct a durable and magnificent road here in Neno,” he said.
Chilima, then pleaded with people of Neno to vote for UTM for this promise to be fulfilled.
