NICE Compliments Parliamentary, Local Government Debates

The National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) Trust has described the Parliamentary and local government debates as an important tool for holding duty bearers accountable.

In his remarks NICE Regional Manager for the South Enock Chinkhutha said the debates provide a room for citizen to know and understand the voting process.

The debates are also a platform where voter civic education is conducted,” said Chinkhutha.

NICE is currently holding Parliamentary and local government debates across the country where electorates are engaging with their aspirants, to find out from them what they would do once voted into power.
