Malawi Congress Party (MCP) leader Lazarus Chakwera has signed to no immunity if he is voted into power next week.

Chakwera made the commitment when he signed to fulfil the National Youth Manifesto.

Among other issues, Chakwera signed to free up Anti-Corruption Bureau-ACB, make the youth have their own land and ending corruption.

Chakwera said he is ready to be arrested if he commits a crime during his rule.

Meanwhile Youth and Society Director Charles Kajoloweka said they have received communication from the presidential advisor on NGOs Mavuto Bamusi that president Peter Mutharika is also willing to sign.

However, Kajoloweka said the venue arrangements and dates will be announced by the Office of the President since it will be a presidential function. a
