Chaponda Hails MEC ‘Job Well Done’

Former Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development has hailed Malawi Electoral commission for a smooth electoral process.

Chaponda made the remarks after he casted his vote at Mapanga school in Mulanje South west Constituency.

According to Chaponda there have been no reports of violence with people coming out in large numbers to vote.

Chaponda was dismissed as a minister of agriculture following his involvement in Maizegate scandal.
