Chimulirenji’s mother casts her vote in Ntcheu

Mother to Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) runningmate Everton Chimulirenji, Alefa Julius, casted her vote at Chikapa court in Ntcheu North East Constituency.

Chimulirenji and DPP President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika are expected to vote any time from now, according to media reports.

DPP is in tight race with the United Tranformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima and Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

So far the voting has started well in all centres across the country, according to Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Dr. Jane Ansah.
