‘I am Ready to Govern’ – Chimulirenji

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Everton Chimulirenji has said he is ready to step in and govern as the second in command after May 21 polls.

Chimulirenji made the remarks during the commissioning of a borehole in Ntcheu North East Constituency.

In his speech Chimulirenji said it is the desire of President Peter Mutharika to practice clean politics.

“This is the time for clean politics not backbiting,” he said.

He further added that DPP together with its President Peter Mutharika will continue making lives of Malawians bearable.

During the commission of the borehole, Chimulirenji said it is the desire of the DPP led government to ensure that people have access to safe water.

“This is the time for clean water,” said Chimulirenji.

He further urged people of Ntcheu North East constituency to vote for DPP for more tangible development.

“The only key for you to enjoy tangible development is to vote for DPP so that it can continue its development master plan,” he said.

He then promised the people that once voted as the legislator of the constituency he will construct roads in order to reduce transportation barriers.
