Man Cuts Wife’s Throat, Hangs Himself Beside her Dead Body

A Ghanaian farmer has reportedly killed his wife by cutting her throat before hanging himself beside her dead body.

Reports have it that the incident happened at the small town of Akrosu in the Bono Region of the West African country.

The farmer identified as Kofi Nyame, 35 killed his 32-year-old wife identified as Linda Kissiwaa on their farm. He cut his wife’s throat and left her to die. After slaughtering Linda Kissiwaa, he moved about 13 meters and committed suicide by hanging, Ghpage reports.

Chief Inspector Augustine Kinsley Oppong, Bono Regional Police Public Relation Officer (PRO) explained that the police on Monday was informed Kofi Nyame has killed his wife in the farm.

They proceeded to the farm only to find Linda Kisiwaa in a pool of blood, wearing a light green long dress, all soaked in the blood. She was lying in a prone position on the farm.

It was the police search team which found the husband 13 meters away hanging on the tree. The bodies were sent to a local Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Although the police have launched an investigation to unravel what caused the killing and suicide, the police still do not know what caused the murder in the first place.
