Several Christian churches including Calvary Family Church, Agape Life Church, Pentecostal Revival Crusade Ministries, Charismatic Redeemed Ministries International, Malawi Assemblies of God and Living Waters Church have organised Presidential Prayer Breakfast slated for Kamuzu Palace on Thursday.
Though the prayers have been taking place since 1999, the choice of venue is talk of town.
Political commentators agrees that the prayers should have taken place at a neutral venue to accommodate all Malawians as they focus on the May 21 Tripartite Elections.
The prayers which will be hosted by President Peter Mutharika come barely days after he snubbed National Prayers and Peace Declaration ceremony organised by the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) at BICC which were attended by six other Presidential candidates.
