Chilima to invade Zomba, Blantyre with ‘thank you’ rallies

United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dr. Saulos Chilima is set to hold ‘thank you rallies’ in Eastern and Southern this coming weekend, faceofmalawi can reveal.

The rallies come barely two weeks after a two thank you rallies at Mzuzu Upper Stadium in the Northern Region and Masintha Ground in the Capital Lilongwe.

This has been confirmed in a statement posted on UTM’s facebook page seen by Faceofmalawi reporter.

According to the poster, Chilima will this coming Saturday hold a thank you rallies at Gymkhana in Ground in the Eastern region before Njamba Freedom Park on Sunday.

“We all have faith in a better Malawi, that is why we say; Zomba and Blantyre get ready for a Thank You Get Together rallies with Dr. Saulos Chilima,” reads in part the poster.

Chilima is challenging the outcome of the May 21 tripartite election and he has since filed for a lawsuit to the High Court.

Last week Thursday, Chilima led concerned Malawians in a peaceful protest demanding the immediate resignation of Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Jane Ansah for failing to administer the most fraudulent polls ever.
