Ex-minister Harry Thomson dies

Death has been announced of former Minister of Trade and Industry and one of the founders of United Democratic Front (UDF) Harry Thomson.

Thomson passed on this morning at Milpark Hospital in South Africa.

He was born in 1934 in Zomba .

Thomson served as Chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce of Malawi for 10 years and was also Chairman of the Southern Regional Business Council for 6 years.
