Police in Zomba have arrested three suspected notorious criminals and recovered stolen properties worth over 3 million kwacha.
This has happened amid a spate of robberies in the past few months in the district.
Zomba Police Public Relations Officer Sub Inspector Patricia Supliano has confirmed the development.
Supuliano said that the three suspects identified as Dan Nazombe 24, Obvious Zunga 28 and George Alubi 20 have been arrested in different places in the district.

The stolen items include three plasma screens, home theaters and laptops and the suspects have been charged with the offence of house breaking contrary to section 309of the penal code.
