Elections Case Update: Counsel Mhango Done Cross Examining SKC

Lawyer Charles Mhango representing the first petitioner President Peter Mutharika in the on-going landmark presidential elections case has finished cross examining the first petitioner Saulos Chilima.

Mhango has been cross examining Chilima on allegations of alterations and ghost votes in Machinga and Rumphi districts.

Mhango has also been cross-examining Chilima on evidence that Chilima submitted on different figures between original result sheets (form 66) and final results announced by MEC.

According to chilima some figures for presidential candidates in the said districts were changed.

Meanwhile, Lawyer Chilenga representing Chilima has asked for adjournment as they were requested by the court to cross examine their client saying the need more time to prepare themselves
