FAO to Reinforce Livestock Disease surveillance

Chief Director in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, Yanila Mtupanyama has commended Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for stressing the need to accelerate animal disease surveillance in the country.

Mtupanyama made the remarks in Lilongwe during the official opening of an inception workshop for the technical cooperation program on livestock disease control.

in her remark, Mtupanyama said the project will increase diagnostic and control capacity in live stock diseases.
