Chilumpha hails Bushiri for constructing Secondary School in Rumphi

Former Vice President Dr. Cassim Chilumpha has hailed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church for donation of Secondary School to the government of Malawi.

Prophet Bushiri through Shepherd Bushiri Foundation (SBF) has handed over Zolokere Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) in Hewe, Rumphi District on Friday August 30, 2019.

Chief executive officer of SBF Mr Duncan Zgambo, handed over the school to government and the community on behalf of Bushiri.

The government was represented by the Education Division Manager for the northern region, Mr Mzondi Moyo; District Education Manager for Rumphi, Mr Macfene Mzumara; and the District Commissioner for Rumphi, Mr. Fred Movete.

Writing on his official facebook page Chilumpha hailed Bushiri for the timely donation.

“Fellows Malawians, allow me to commend the gesture shown by Prophet Bushiri for constructing a secondary school in Rumphi.

“I understand, the Minister was too busy to “receive” the school on behalf of Malawians.

May good bless Malawi with a thousand Bushiris!” wrote Chilumpha on his official facebook page.

The four-block, modern secondary school boasts of: Four classrooms with capacity of over 70 students with desks, Four offices for form teachers with furniture, 1 Library room fully furnished with textbooks,1 Laboratory room fully furnished with equipments, 1 staff room covering over 20 teachers with all the furniture, 1 office for the head teacher with furniture,1 office for the school bursar with furniture, Computers and 10 toilets.
