The winner of the disputed May 21 elections Peter Mutharika has said he is the Lion of Lower Shire.
Mutharika said this on Sunday during a thank you rally in Nsanje.
“I am the Lion of Lower Shire,” said Mutharika.
According to Mutharika, people of Nsanje voted for him overwhelmingly citing that it is the reason he went to the personally for a thanksgiving.
The 80 year old President said he bagged more votes of president than any of his competitors, calling it a “landslide.”
Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) are seeking for nullification of the presidential results.
The case is currently in court…
