Maranatha Academy praises MANEB for releasing MSCE results in time

One of the leading Academy in the country Maranatha has commended the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) for releasing the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) results early saying it will help the students who failed to start with their fellow students in first term.

Ernest Kaonga Academy’s Managing Director was speaking during the press briefing held at Mount Soche hotel in the commercial city of Malawi, Blantyre.

“Our main aim of this press briefing is inform the nation that Maranatha has commended MANEB for well done job. Students who failed the exams will have an opportunity to join their fellow students when they are opening this month,” he said.

Kaonga further said he is happy with the performance for his students as they are number 2 in MSCE results after their students scooping 7 points while Zomba catholic students scooped 6 points.

He also said Maranathat aims at assisting the government to improve the educational standards in the country by proving quality services.

During the briefing the Managing director also said they have closed some of their institutions like Liwalazi, along Chilleka road campus and Nsanje campus so that the Management can concentrate with two institutions Maranathat boys and girls Academy in Machinjiri.

“We are not closing this Academy because of money but we need to put many efforts in this two institutions. I can take three weeks without visiting other institutions that’s why we have decided to close some,” he said.

He has promised and assured parents that this year MSCE results the Academy will produce 100 percent pass rate because 2019 results the Academy has produced 90 percent for boys while 89 is for girls.
