Court allows Chakwera’s witness to bring new evidence

The Constitutional Court hearing the presidential election case has this afternoon permitted Richard Chapweteka, witness for Lazarus Chakwera, to use new evidence documents in the matter.

Mordecai Msiska, lawyer for Chakwera, made an application on the matter this morning.

The lawyer said a well-wisher who does not want to be named, gave them the documents which include a delivery list that was used when receiving electoral materials from Dubai.

Meanwhile the case continues at the Constitutional Court in the capital Lilongwe where MCP and United Tranformation movement (UTM) are seeking nullification of the presidential polls.
