WELL WISHERS BAIL OUT 12 LEARNERS IN ZOMBA

Well-wishers in Zomba have assisted 12 learners with school fees at Terry Community Secondary School in Zomba.

Ivy Kampaliro chingolo who is the head teacher at Terry community day secondary school during a school fees donation ceremony that was organized by village development committee at the Kaselema village at senior chief Chikowi in Zomba district said the 12 learners had dropped out of school due to lack of school fees.

The VCD in the area had mobilized funds from well-wishers to assist with fees that would cater for 12 learners who had no school fees.

During the ceremony chingolo commended the VDC For the initiative as many pupils are struggling to raise fees for themselves with some opting out.

“I would like to thank the VDC for this initiative. Many pupils struggle to find school fees and they opt to drop out of school,” said Chingolo.

The ceremony was also graced by Joseph Ntamira who is the chair person   officer for senior chief Chikowi and urged other well wishes to emulate the same.
