5 foreign nationals hired to kill Mtambo

Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) Chairperson Timothy Mtambo has accused the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of hiring five foreign nationals to assassinate him in five days to come.

Mtambo who has been behind the ongoing protest demanding the immediate resignation of Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Dr. Jane Ansah for failing to manage the May 21 tripartite election disclosed this in a statement posted on his official facebook page.

“You evil sons and daughters of darkness, how many people are you going to hire to assassinate me? For how long are you going to waste our hard-earned taxes paying thugs to kill me? What wrong did I do to you? Now you have hired 5 foreigners to kill me, in your stupid meeting they have assured you that I will be dead in 6 days. You have paid these people a lot of money and you have promised them that upon completion of the mission you will thank them handsomely.

“My question to you is that for how long are you going to waste our hard-earned resources? You started counting your 6 days yesterday, let me assure you that I will not die, you and your evil team do not own my life. I have never taken anything from you, so stay away from. GOD did not create me for you or anybody to kill.I will live and glorify his name,” wrote Mtambo.

He added: “If you continue fighting me know that you will not win and you are fighting God and you will miserably lose. All your plans reach me everyday, muyaluka ndipo muvulala. I am not scared of you or anybody. The struggle for a better Malawi will continue and nobody including you will stop it. Get Ready!! I worship a powerful and awesome God.”

Mtambo has survived several murder attempts by suspected DPP cadets with the famous attempt being the petrol-bombing of his house in Lilongwe.
