A Nigerian man identified as Mr. Akinbola has been called out for lying about his ex girlfriend being dead in order to get his crush to sympathize with him and hopeful, give him the desired attention.

According to the gist, he blocked everyone on his WhatsApp except his crush. Then he uploaded a photo of his ex and wrote a caption suggesting she had passed on. His crush saw it and he claimed she was his sister who had recently passed on.

Unfortunately for him, the crush is friends with a mutual friend of his and that was how his plan blew up in his face.

His ex’s friend took to Twitter to call him out, sharing screenshots as evidence.
