Interview with Stan Nkhata, Malawi Ministry of Finance, on the Aid Management Platform

This is an interview with Stan Nkhata, Deputy Director of the Debt and Aid Division of the Ministry of Finance, Malawi. He speaks about the government’s experience tracking development assistance, and specifically the implementation of the Aid Management Platform (AMP) (www.developmentgateway.org a system for monitoring and reporting on aid flows. AMP was created by Development Gateway (www.developmentgateway.org) in partnership with the OECD, UNDP, the World Bank, and the governments of Ethiopia and India to allow governments and their partners to manage aid resources and make more informed decisions about aid programs. Fifteen countries around the world use AMP to keep track of aid-financed activities.
