Milupi saddened by Sata’s lack of diplomacy over Malawi

Date:

Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) President Charles Milupi has described as unfortunate the manner in which President Michael Sata turned down the invitation to attend a COMESA meeting in Malawi.

Speaking to HOT FM, Milupi noted that as much as President Sata has the right to be upset with the Malawian leader, Bingu Wamutharika, the President should not have expressed his displeasure in full view of the media.

He said the head of state may lower his status as a result of airing his grievances to the press and the world at large.

Milupi furher said President Sata should have expressed his feelings in a more diplomatic way than bringing the issues to the attention of journalists
