DStv adds more entertainment channels

Digital Satellite Television (DStv) subscribers will from October 1, 2012 have more M-net additional channels, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Multichoice Malawi, Titania Katenga-Kaunda has revealed.

The additional movie channels are themed according to movie type and will include M-Net Movies Premiere, M-Net Comedy, Family, Action plus, Drama, Romance and showcase. M-Net action and M-net stars will be called M-Net movies Action and M-Net Movies Stars respectively

“There are more entertainment channels to suit one’s mood at that particular time yet the subscription fees will remain the same. We are assured that this will satisfy our customers since the inclusion has been designed to guarantee easy navigation for audiences so they know where to find favourite type of movie or programme to watch,” Kaunda told the media and DStv subscribers in Blantyre on Wednesday.

According to Kaunda, M-Net Movies Premiere will be having freshest movies appearing on television for the first time and five more blockbuster movies will be screened every Friday.

The coming in of new channels will also change the channel numbers and viewers are advised to tune in to channel 198 (which used to host Big Brother Africa) and click on the renumbering information section.
