University of Malawi (Unima) is transferring prospective Bunda college students, who sat for the 2012 University examination, to the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
According to a press statement from the registrar, this follows an agreement between the governing councils of the two Universities.
All along Bunda collage of agriculture has been running under university of Malawi until the establishment of the Agriculture based university.
This led to the de-linking of the college from UNIMA to be under LUANAR.
The process caused chaos at the Bunda College a few months ago as students were refusing to graduate with LUANAR degrees.
The students argued that their admission was under UNIMA and that switching them to the other board would be a breach of their academic contract.
